MILKBUS 

Milkbus is a milk distribution car with in-tank pasteurization designed to provide calves with the right amount of milk they need at the right temperature.

Why is pasteurization important?

Colostrum and whole milk provide a rich environment for bacteria, so it is almost impossible to avoid bacterial growth in calf milk. For this reason, calves can absorb pathogenic (harmful) bacteria along with milk.

Pathogens may come from an infected udder or manure residue. In addition, the proliferation of pathogens in milk can be caused by inadequate cleaning of the udder, milk pipes, buckets, hands, etc. during milking or the period after when the milk is handled and moved.

Pasteurization is a good solution to reduce the number of bacteria in milk.

Normal milk can withstand higher temperatures than colostrum. For in-tank pasteurization, 60 minutes at 60 degrees or 30 minutes at 63 degrees is generally targeted.

Temperature is very important in reducing the number of bacteria, so it should not be below 60 degrees in this process, otherwise the number of bacteria will not decrease sufficiently. On the other hand, if the temperature rises above 63 degrees, it destroys the beneficial components in milk.

For farmers with larger herds of calves, the battery-powered Milkbus is the most suitable choice. Engine power varies according to tank capacity. You can choose according to the size of your herd:
